Leaders of Influence Program
The SkillsUSA Illinois Leaders of Influence program is an opportunity for select SkillsUSA leaders from across the state to develop their personal and workplace skills focused around preparing them for their career path.
Participants will have opportunities to

develop their communication and teamwork skills through leading this year’s State Leadership & Skills Conference.

demonstrate responsibility and leadership skills through the planning, organizing and management of special projects honoring SkillsUSA members across the state.

engage in intentional experiences that contribute positively to career progression through professional development.

March 10—11 | SLSC Planning Conference - Peoria, IL

Arrive Friday by 10 a.m. Depart Saturday at 2 p.m.
April 18 | Pre-SLSC Conference Call - Zoom

Tuesday 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
April 26—29 | State Leadership & Skills Conference - Peoria, IL

Arrive Wednesday by 6 p.m., Depart Saturday with chapter

Leaders will have the opportunity to represent Illinois at the National Leadership & Skills Conference as a voting delegate, conducting organizational business.
Personal Development Scholarship | $500

Successful leaders will receive $500 to continue their personal development.
This can be used for travel to the National Leadership & Skills Conference.
