SkillsUSA Advisor and Instructor

Professional Development

February 15-16, 2024 • Springfield, IL​

In partnership with the Illinois Association of Career and Technical Education, SkillsUSA Illinois will offer a Professional Development track at this year’s IACTE Annual Conference for advisors and instructors.

 

Connect with advisors and CTE instructors across the state, learn about opportunities and initiatives around leading a chapter, and share best and high-quality practices. Sessions will be split into three types for new advisors, experienced advisors, and both.

To participate in this professional development experience, individuals must be fully registered for the IACTE annual conference, through IACTE. Professional membership to IACTE is encouraged.

During the registration process, please check the “SkillsUSA Track” option either online or on the paper form. While at conference, SkillsUSA track participants will have access to general sessions, exhibitors, as well as can attend other breakout sessions as they wish. 

​

Register by going to Absorb  > My Courses >  2022-2023 Professional Membership Benefits  >  Advisor Professional Development (Instructor- Led Courses) and selecting the session. All sessions with exception of Technical Fridays and Love and Logic are using the Absorb registration system.  Click here to view a step-by-step tutorial document.
