Red Jacket To Your Dreams Scholarship

SkillsUSA Illinois' mission is to empower students to become skilled professionals, career-ready leaders and responsible community members. The State Leadership and Skills Conference (SLSC) is the pinnacle event for SkillsUSA Illinois members and is Illinois’ greatest showcase of Career and Technical Education. At SLSC, members are able to demonstrate their mastery of career preparedness through over 140 career competitions, receive recognition for their local service activities, and connect with industry to create a high-skilled, high-demand employment pipeline.

 

SkillsUSA Illinois’ network of more than 400+ business and industry partners believes in our mission and the value of participating in SkillsUSA Framework skill development at SLSC. Through their support, we can offer $120 Scholarships to over 80 participants.

Details

  • All applications must be submitted by March 1, 2026, at Midnight

  • The application consists of three short-answer responses and a resume submission.

  • Must be a registered SkillsUSA student member at the time of application submission.

  • Awardees will be announced by March 16, 2026.

  • Scholarships will be awarded as a conference invoice credit.

  • The student must be registered for and attend the State Leadership & Skills Conference to receive credit.
