SkillsUSA Illinois, in partnership with the Youth Workforce Development Foundation, is excited to present the third annual Construction Pathways: Career Experience. This event, open to schools statewide with a special focus on Central Illinois, will bring construction employers from the across the region who are eager to hire young, talented individuals. The goal of this annual event is to connect students ready to enter the workforce with industry professionals looking to hire.​

School Registration
While the event is free to attend, registration is required for all attendees. The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. A final event schedule will be published following the registration deadline. Lunch will be provided. The deadline to register is October 16, 2024, this includes students, instructors or advisors, and school administrators.​
SkillsUSA Illinois has worked to simply the registration for this year’s event. Follow these steps to register for the event:

Following the registration deadline, SkillsUSA Illinois will provide schools with a list of those registered to confirm all registrations have been received. This event is both grant and partner sponsored with limited funding. Please be sure to communicate any cancelations with the SkillsUSA Illinois team. ​

Employer/Partner Registration School Registration
To participate in this event, business partner registration and/or event sponsorship is required. All industry representatives must complete the registration process to attend.

Contractors — Registration includes one table space, opportunities to engage with attendees, a designated interview area, and company name listed on event materials.

Unions — Registration includes space for hands-on activities, opportunities to engage with attendees, and organization name listed on event materials.
What's Covered
Registration also covers facility use, meals, and t-shirts for your organization's representatives. Each contractor registration allows for two (2) representatives, and each union registration allows for up to five (5) representatives. Additional representatives may be registered for a fee.
